So here we are just a matter of weeks before Christmas and prep fully under way.
Knowing first hand how supply chains are struggling this year I have been super organised and all bar gifts for my husband and the finishing touches to stockings and wrapping – we are almost there!
Do you find buying Christmas Gifts tricky?
I struggle every year. I dislike buying gifts for the sake of buying gifts and finding something useful for children and adults who almost always have everything they “need” is always tough too.
With this in mind I thought it might be helpful for myself and the wonderful Lauren who works behind the scenes for Eco Souk to share with you what we are gifting this year – whether its from Eco Souk or not.
You may already know that my children are aged 8, 6 and 2.5 – here’s what you’ll find in their Santa Stockings this year:
Stocking Fillers – 2.5 year old
Natura Tribe Natural Play dough (Use Rosie10 for 10% off)
Plan Bath Toys
Number & Alphabet Flashcards by The Little Coachhouse
Wooden Star Wand – Ark Children
6 and 8 year olds
Shleich Animals – Selfridges or locally from Borders
Books – Reading, colouring and sticker books.
I love a bit of a Family Christmas tradition too and just like in years past, they will each receive a clementine, some M & S Gold Coins and a personal letter from Santa – courtesy of Polar Post – in their stockings too!
For Bigger Christmas Gifts – here’s what we’ve done this year:
2.5 year old
Natura Tribe Fairy Elixir Potion set (Use Rosie10 for 10% off)
Miniature Gardening Set – Selfridges
A selection of new Maileg additions for the dolls house
6 & 8 year olds
New Banwood bike helmet – to match her sisters!
Natura Tribe Dragon Elixir Potion set (Use Rosie10 for 10% off)
Plan Toys Croquet Set
Impala Rollerblades – from Smallable
Nintendo Switch – they’ve been asking for a computer console for ages and we have finally caved.
BiniBamba Merino Wool Slippers and a Spa Day for Grandma
Golf Lessons for Grandpa
Grandparents Journal for memory keeping (see our Sentimental Gift section for this and more)
Hand Painted Ceramics from Ceramic Café Motor City
We have another tradition in our house which sees our Elf – Twinkle – bring advent calendars on December 1st alongside Christmas Pyjamas they can enjoy all month long!
He usually includes a little note and some Christmas Activities and new Christmas Story Book for their collection.
This years activity is Fine Motor Little Coachhouse Christmas Tree and Snowman with some pom poms they can decorate.
On Christmas Eve, Twinkle the Elf leaves his farewell note for the season alongside some slippers to cosy up with and a game that we can enjoy as a family before a Hot Chocolate and Christmas Movie.
He’ll also leave each of the littles a pack of reindeer food to sprinkle outside before they sleep to help Santa find his way to our house.
I am especially excited to have BiniBamba’s Slippers in the collection as well as The Little Coachhouse Christmas Tree and Snowman and of course Maileg!
As well as providing you with an incredible selection of gifts this Christmas – we’re giving you the below:
FREE Christmas Gift Wrapping
A pack of eco eco-friendly Reindeer food to sprinkle outside on Christmas Eve
A FREE Christmas Gift
